At the GB, you can truly slow down and enjoy the meal, while snappy service and an excellent wine selection make it hard to resist. Goes without saying, that the food was yummy, and left nothing to desire.”

Prego “Classic hotel style restaurant with yummy food, great coffee. Absolutely recommended, but not cheap :)”

Table No 1 “The decor is rusty/chic, but well done, the food is really tasty. We first went during the last Shanghai Restaurant Week, and have been back a few times.”

Simply Thai “Ah that spicy Tom Yum soup, the curries and other tong curlers will make you reach for the wine, which is perfectly selected to balance the assault on your senses. This is an old classic in Shanghai, that none of us would want to miss.”

Pane e Vino “Small, with a nice upstair bar and jummy food, this is a great place for an unpretentious outing with friends, lover or family.”

Trattoria Isabelle “Great little gem of a place. In an old house off of Huaihai Lu, the serve nicely authentic food. I think the typical tourist dishes are not even on the menu, so enjoy.”

Shintori “The first time I went, I was reminded of London - bare concrete, large cavernous place. Funky and very untypical for Shanghai. The food, lives up to expectation, though. ”

Din Tai Fung “Lovely dumplings, nice setting and excellent other dishes make this a great place to take family or friends. Make sure to come early, or the wait may be long but worth it.”

Cantina Agave “Hmm, lunch on a giant burrito, wash it down with a stiff drink and enjoy as Shanghai walks past.”

Bistro Burger “Good burgers, tasty spiked shakes and friendly staff. Combine with a location that invites for an amble afterwards and even the kids are happy.”
