This casual, velvet-decked wine bar from David Laris hits Shanghai just in time for al-fresco drinking season (aka spring and summer). If you're around Xintiandi and want to unwind with some tasty Greek finger food and an affordable glass or three of vino, check out the Fat Olive and its open air patio. “Lunch is a pretty good deal - 48 RMB for salad, wrap and espresso. The food is tasty, the views not bad and the staff is generally friendly.”
“Good wine. Good Greek food. Great view from the patio. See the attached picture. Gets a little windy up there in autumn/spring, but they provided blankets. Definitely a good location for drinks after work - if you dont work out in the middle of "nowhere" like I do.”
