"A little too spicy. \\r\\nThis spin-off of the popular Hengshan Cafe is a stylish dig\xE2\x80\x93black chandeliers, a significant wine rack, a huge bar and even a solarium. We asked for some water": "sorry, only bottled available (Panna still, \xC2\xA528). The asparagus salad with salsa verde (\xC2\xA542) was tasty, but too heavy in flavor as a starter. The Olio (\xC2\xA548), spaghetti with olives, thyme and garlic was flavorful to the point where the spices were undistinguishable. Even the slices of cucumber, a clever ingredient, couldn't give our taste buds an intermission. The Grilled Canadian black cod with olives, leek and mascarpone (\xC2\xA598) presented us with a delicious fillet, but we prefered to take separate bites of fish and its spinach accompaniment for the sweet spinach masked the taste of the cod. We topped it all off with a Five spice chocolate bundt cake (\xC2\xA528), a warm and gooey cocoa explosion. We're not too sure where their niche is, but it's got potential. - Emily C"
